Why running speaks volumes 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

ADHD COACH

Hi Reader,

I don't know where you live, but it feels like we went from a very long winter to a very short spring and then straight into summer.

I started running again last week, not because I was ready, but because my ego saw some finish-line photos and thought, "If they can do that, so can I."

It became an article about something I see often: high-functioning people with ADHD running on systems that no longer fit their lives, and treating that as evidence that something is wrong with them.

It isn't.

Running is a metaphor. We coaches like metaphors. It's part of our training.

The full piece is on Substack.

If you missed my last note, I'm going all in on Substack.

While I'll still have my LinkedIn newsletter and posts, Substack will feature more in-depth writing about ADHD in midlife, bite-sized notes, my podcast, discussions, and more.

Expect straight talk about midlife ADHD. Real-life support without hackneyed productivity tips, shortcuts, or bot-written platitudes. I hate bot-written platitudes.t

I'd be delighted if you subscribed to The ADHD Midlife Edit there. I can’t move you there automatically. (I mean, I can, but doing so would violate anti-spam legislation.)

Right now, my Substack is free.

Community features and more are on the way.

If you're not already subscribed, my article about running is a good place to start.

→ Read it here.

Hope to see you there,

Andrea
