ADHD COACH & EDUCATOR

Hi Reader,

Happy February.

I hope you've been keeping warm.

Sometimes I visit Days of the Year for content inspiration. Today, I learned about the following:

  • National Umbrella Day - February 10 (Tuesday)
  • National Latte Day and National Peppermint Patty Day - February 11 (Wednesday)
  • National Cheese Doodle Day and "Hug Day" (No "National, just "Hug Day") - Thursday, February 12.

Which one sounds best to you? Weigh in below. First, a few updates about my podcast and other content.

Podcast

Since I last emailed you, I’ve released three podcast episodes.

Late ADHD diagnosis in midlife: What changes once you know

A late diagnosis doesn’t arrive as a single moment of clarity, but as a long series of realizations, reinterpretations, and emotional recalibrations. This episode explores why insight alone doesn’t always translate into real-life change.

ADHD, hormones, and knowing when to pause

This was my “I feel like I’m losing my shit, but I need to record an episode” episode. PMS in perimenopause, a full moon, and whatever other fresh hell was going on. I didn’t have the bandwidth to follow my original plan, so I respected my energy and went off-plan.

It clocks in at under 7 minutes. Still scripted.

I WISH I could speak off-the-cuff without notes. If you've got any advice about this, let me know. We can learn from each other.

How to talk about your ADHD diagnosis

Deciding whether to discuss your ADHD diagnosis can be complex, especially in midlife. This episode treats disclosure as a strategic choice, not a confession, and looks at how these decisions play out at work and in social settings.

This episode includes a bonus ADHD disclosure decision checklist.

It's a meaty topic, and so related episodes will follow. The episode includes a bonus ADHD disclosure decision checklist.

The day after I recorded it, the topic came up organically in a group chat about workplace disclosure, which confirmed how live this conversation is right now.

This could be a good topic to collaborate on with a business life coach.

If you find the podcast useful, you can subscribe wherever you listen. Ratings and reviews help, and I appreciate them.
