Hi Reader,
Are you keeping warm? Illness-free? I know a lot of you are in the same part of the world I am, where the flu is rampant and the weather has gotten colder than feels possible.
On top of that, Blue Monday was earlier this week.
Here’s what The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) says about Blue Monday:
“There is no scientific basis for why the third Monday in January has been deemed Blue Monday. It actually came about as a marketing gimmick by a travel company a decade ago. But the reason it has caught on in the public imagination, especially in Canada, is that it rings true. Daylight is at a premium, nights are long and cold, holiday bills are arriving, and most of us are the furthest away we can be from the next thing to look forward to. “
Podcast
Since I last emailed you, I’ve released two podcast episodes. They won’t keep you warm, but they might keep you occupied if you’re stuck inside.
Why ADHD feels harder in perimenopause
If you’re a woman in midlife and your ADHD feels harder to manage than it used to, I want you to know this right away: you’re not imagining it.
In last week’s episode of my podcast, PRIMED for ADHD, I discuss why strategies that worked for years can suddenly stop working. If you’re a man, listen on behalf of the women in your life. If you’re a woman at any life stage, this will still be relevant.
This episode explores the role of hormonal fluctuations, cumulative burnout from years of compensating, shifts in identity, and why this phase is so often misinterpreted as personal failure.
This is about understanding what kind of support makes sense now.
Coaching vs. therapy: who does what (and how to know what you need)
To help you think through what support makes sense now (it’s almost as if I planned this podcast season in advance, which I did), this week’s episode focuses on the differences between coaching and therapy, how they overlap, how to decide which makes sense for you right now, and how the two can work together, especially in midlife, when old coping strategies stop working and life transitions create new challenges.
If any of my episodes have wide appeal beyond a specific niche, it’s this one. The conversation about coaching vs. therapy is relevant to almost everyone. The coaching principles are the same.
I also reference the International Coaching Federation and share insights from the ICF-accredited life coaching training I completed last year.
Subscribe to my podcast wherever you listen, rate where you can, and review where you can.

Support
I recently streamlined the offers on my website and am evolving my support offerings. There are currently three ways to work with me:
12-week 1:1 intensive
For women ready to make real changes and feel grounded and clear.
Get Your Shit Together: Deep Dive
An 8–12 week premium 1:1 experience that includes access to me between weekly sessions
Both programs are designed to facilitate profound transformation. My 1:1 clients often leave their very first session feeling empowered to act immediately.
WILD Minds group coaching
For women who want to be part of an expert-led community with a proven mind-body framework —so you're not just commiserating, you're actually changing. “WILD” stands for “Women In Leadership, Divergently”.
If you know someone who might be interested in WILD Minds, feel free to forward this email to them.
